A place for strictly enforced happiness, that anyone can use to cheer themselves and others in these miserable times. Dissenters can expect to be punished by karma. Images, stories, clips, videos, and general all lovely things welcome. Rehearsals for the play of the decade, which is merely postponed... Eileen Atkins is a very lucky lady to be looked at like that. I can tell she's concentrating very hard so she doesn't slide off the sofa, and who can blame her for such caution.

As it seems we'll all be staycationing away from crowds this year, I've decided to embrace the opportunity to look for a thatched cottage to rent. Somewhere to spend balmy late summer days and evenings, breathing sweetly perfumed air, and watching fluffy fat bees going about their busy work. Tucked up cosy under the thatch, reading books and listening to music, in good sheets. Picking flowers from the garden to decorate the rooms with.

Despite being no great lover of ice cream, I always make an exception for smooth pistachio. In my experience, the finest in the world is to be found at a little local cafe with a view of a six lane road, in the Gueliz district of Marrakech. I can't find a single picture of it, despite probably being able in person to find it blindfolded. Maybe next summer.

Look at this cute little man... Too precious. You couldn't get him into trouble if he ate all the biscuits and drew on your wallpaper.

| Yeah, but if he drew on the biscuits and ate the wallpaper and Maggie Gyllenhaal put him up to it... _________________ OK, I'm an old shoe

Then she'd get a crack across the skull with a rolling pin. He's far too adorable to be punished... He might want to watch a cartoon or something, and be waited on hand and foot. I'd be able to do that while I waited for her to come round.
