Anything by Wild Man Fischer.
I listened to some of that, after my Fischer joke earlier this evening.
And I agree.

Album we should never do? This is available on YouTube and I can't decide if it's needed on this forum or is not. Two "yes" nominations and it gets created. I'm abstaining.

Which is true. Here's Wikipedia's list of the current members of Love - and he's not on it.

We're up to about.... half a "yes" vote for Ian McShane's album of covers. Another one and a half "yes" votes and it gets created!

Maybe we should do their first album. It was produced by John Cale and he got them to throw out all their existing songs and dump their usual sound. The result was a total car crash.

Difford found the process of working with their producer challenging: "He came up and said, 'have you ever thought about writin’ about musclemen?' I said, 'That’s never occurred to me.' And he said, 'Well, go away and do it – I wanna see songs like that on the album.'

But I'm sure it can't have had much effect on the songs.

Maybe that's where the he-man in the sudden shower in Pulling Mussels comes from.
