What's going on outside your house?

When I went out to vote my neighbour was having a delivery of paving slabs and loads of sand from a lorry with a grabber crane on it. That must be for the patio he was talking about building over the bank holiday :yes:

When I came back the lorry had gone, but the cones outside his house were still there, so he must be expecting further consignments.

Neighbour has been wheeling barrowloads of slabs up the side passage all evening.

I've got a bad feeling about this bank holiday weekend. sad yes

I cunningly went to work really early this morning so he wouldn't ask me to move my car. He'll have to ask his other neighbours on the other side to move theirs.

OK, last night, across the leafy, green courtyard of the flats I live in now there were a couple across the way having a blazing argument.

Well, I say a couple, but it was more a woman going absolutely berserk at a bloke who was stood on his balcony, silently smoking a fag in the dark.

He really didn't seem to saying much, or anything in fact, but she was very clearly and very loudly very very very VERY angry with him.

This went on for quite some time.

Eventually, I started to watch a film and put my headphones on (as I always do) and was thus unaware as to when or if it stopped.

Anyway, I awoke today at about 10am, removed my earplugs and she was still at it. Colbert

She's just started up again, effin' and jeffin' about how he won't do anything "with Mum".

Also, the people downstairs were going at it hammer and tong as well (not in the n**ky sense) on Friday afternoon.

Yes, that's right, I now live on an estate. sad yes

It's been a really annoying weekend outside my house too. On Friday night there was the van incident previously referred to, and last night the little sh*tb*g who lives across the road came home on his horrible scratchy motorbike at midnight. And this afternoon one of the neighbours parked too close to my car, and sh*tb*g boy was revving his bike up again.

I hope he falls off it and ~~his head comes off and he dies~~ realises that he's behaving selfishly and mends his ways.

Otherwise I'll have to sleep in the spare room at the back of the house, and that's an extreme emergency measure.

While not EXACTLY outside my house, there has been a shooting on my road 007

, it's all sealed off now with the Police looking at a motorbike and putting lots of markers on the road.
I live in a posh part of town, what's the rest of it like? dontpanic

Junior Evel Knievel sadly has not been shot. OTOH I have begun to find the spare room quite congenial. And the computer's in there, so I can drift off to sleep while listening to ultra-obscure Radio 4 plays from 1972 that I've acquired entirely legitimately online.
