Lovely sunset though.

I reckon we should all gather in Sheffield one summer evening and accompany Wendi on a walk up to that area, to show her that she won't fall off into the sky.

I'm serious.

Not about the ankles, cos Wendi isn't going to fall off the earth into the sky, I give you my personal Fangirl Three guarantee that that won't happen.

But I will happily come to Sheffield, or any other mainland UK town with a Premier Inn, and assist in any Wendi/high places of the earth acclimatisation programme that the Wendstress herself cares to be involved with.

Thank you, Fangirl happy . However, I have spent the last week climbing to the top of steep hills, in order to desensitize myself to them and my fear of such things has reduced massively in the last few days. At the start of the week, I was having to cling to street lamps and bus stops and railings to reassure myself that I wasn't going to fly off. However, yesterday, I walked to the top of Gleadless Road again and at no point felt in danger, although I did feel a little light-headed. I reckon another week of such climbings and I shall be mounting such hills with impunity. box

However, the sight of people sitting on the edge of cliffs is still enough to trigger me. scared

Was that a proper cliff though? When they showed a wider shot it looked more like a rocky outcrop at the top of a slope. Quite a steep slope, but not a sheer drop.

I hope this talk of cliffs and slopes isn't too distasteful.

I'm not sure where it was. I assumed it was Stanage Edge but, looking at photos of that, the surrounding area looks totally different. Wharncliffe has similar surroundings but the cliff part looks completely different from the one in the show. dunno
