I've been feeling a bit odd this last couple of days. I don't want my breakfast till quite late, and I'm sleepy all day. And yet I have been sleeping my usual hours and drinking no more than usual.

Is it S.A.D.?

I've never got that before, I like gloomy weather.

It's more likely to be D.R.I.N.K. I think I'll have to further reduce consumption. Even though I've already upped my minimum drink-free-days per week to 2, and often do 3.

That's the initial problem with having so-called dry days though - each non-dry day causes significantly gr8er hangover distress the day following the next supposably admissible 'wet day'.

Ultimately, the real issue is that of binge drinking.

For example - as some may know here - Monday is my official night off (the day after what has usually been a fairly hefty weekend of boozing) and throughout that Monday I have a steady and generally rigid routine whereby I can 'heal' myself.

However, after listening to an album that either I h8 or I love and everyone else h8s and then watching horror movies till I pass out on a Tuesday night whilst drinking 400 units of alcohol, Wednesday mornings are a beeyaatch!!

It could be that you're dying. Not of anything in particular, just in that your body is approaching its time. People that happens to lose their appetite without suffering hunger, and sleep more and more until they sleep forever. No real discomfort seems to be involved so there's nothing to be afraid of. Just make your bed as comfortable as humanly possible, and sink into it.

I don't think you need fetch a shovel just yet.
