| I've finally had the chance to test my new binoculars in daylight. And they work. _________________ |

| I bought these: https://www.dellonda.co.uk/products/dl4-7x50mm-porro-prism-bak4-binoculars-multi-coated-waterproof-fogproof-supplied-with-case-and-lens-caps?_pos=2&_sid=08d021afd&_ss=r Which are clearly these but rebranded and discounted: https://www.barska.com/7x50mm-wp-yellow-floatmaster-floating-binoculars-barska Which means I got a $117 pair of binoculars for less than £40. _________________ |

| They're designed for sailors to use. And they, allegedly, float. _________________ |

| I'm definitely not putting that to the test. _________________ |

| Are you using them from your yacht?
And I can see why you call them bananananananananananananas. _________________ a "couldn't care less, come on life ... amuse me, merchant" |

The distant hills on yonder horizon. In the spring and summer, they fill up with sheepies and cowsies and horsies and hang-glideries. _________________ |

| Ooh, I might buy a pair of those.
Can you get them in different colours? _________________ Have you ever seen a Squonk's tears?

| Also, do you think they'd be too big for an 8 year old? _________________ Have you ever seen a Squonk's tears?

| They only come in yellow.
I suspect they'd be too big, bulky and heavy for an 8 year old. _________________ |

| If you imagine an equalateral triangle with the line from Polaris to the lower of the "pointer" stars in Ursa Major as the base, the comet is where the apex of the imaginary triangle would be if pointing to the right....it is very faint though and only just visible in binoculars. I will go outside and have a look now....any excuse for a crafty ciggie. |

| What do you think would be the best binocs for an eight-year-old, Zarners?
A very strong-minded girl who craves independence and wants to be taken seriously.
Like, not style-over-content but something a bit more serious for the young 'uns that they'll be able to use for a long time.
I bought her some for Christmas, but they were way too big and clunky for her.
Seems like the yellow ones Wendi bought are probably a bit too big as well. _________________ Have you ever seen a Squonk's tears?
