Re: Nicolas Roeg is dead
The greatest film maker of all time.
Into my heart an air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Re: Nicolas Roeg is dead
Apparently Nic Roeg was lined up to direct the Dino De Laurentiis backed version of Flash Gordon in 1979.
However he fell out with De Laurentiis and obviously Mike Hodges took over.
Roeg apparently had David Carradine and Debbie Harry lined up to play Ming and Princess Aura respectively and he wanted to make it all overtly er*tic.
But it obviously never happened.
Anyway, here's some never before seen artwork from the abandoned project...
