I have become mildly excited due to December having commenced.

I'm still at level 3 excitement.

I am at stage 4.

I'm at the "sleepy" stage still. I can't believe it's so close to Christmas, yet I feel so neutral about it - not excited, not terrified, not nothing. Everything still feels so ordinary, with no festive cheer. It feels like, like mid-October or something. Even the weather is Octoberish right now.

I've still got to wrap the few presents I get for people but I can't be bothered as it's not Christmas yet.

It's the last posting day before Christmas!

This has caused me to reach level 4 excitement.

I've finished work for the year, and accordingly have reached level 5 excitement.

I also have no intention of leaving the house and eating and drinking non-stop for next week.

I think I went up to level 5 too early. Now it's Christmas Eve Eve, and I've got nowhere to go in excitement terms.

I have already eaten all the Christmas treats I bought for myself.

I'm excited that it'll soon be all over.
