In my news, today, after I made my microwave bread, I put it in the halogen oven for ten minutes and it went lovely and brown and crispy.

It is a lasagne.

It is however highly intellectual.

I am contemplating making an entire loaf in the microwave and then crisping and crusting it in the halogen. If it works, I should be able to make a loaf, from start to finish, in around 12 minutes.

I've now realised I don't have a loaf-sized container to make it in.

I shall have to use my one microwave-friendly bowl to make a half-size loaf.

However, it'll have to wait, as I've bought a packet each of brownie and scone mix.

I'm going to totally ignore the instructions on the packets and see if I can make them in a mug, in the microwave.

Do you really want a mug of brownie and a mug of scone?

I've just done the brownie mix in my mug in my microwave, using milk instead of eggs, and melted butter instead of vegetable oil, and it has worked perfectly.

It took 110 seconds.

You're supposed to put it in a normal oven for 35-40 minutes.

I'm off to make my first-ever attempt at reheating a pork pie.

A pork pie manufacturer's website recommends 15 minutes at 205 celsius.
