I got 4 frozen microwaveable baked potatoes half price for £1.25.

I wouldn't normally buy them honest, it was just because they were reduced.

Also this morning I obtained discounts of 50p on tomato ready rice, and 20p on yogurt.

I should mention btw that every time I save money, I add 50% of the amount to my treats allowance.

Apples were 30p off again! Also canisters of chewing gum were 69p off, so I picked up four, leading to total savings of £3.06! Kerching!

Gum was still 50p off today, so I got another 4 canisters, saving £2.

I get through a lot of gum - one piece after each meal, snack or cup of coffee (cos the latter is acidic). That can mean 5 bits a day at the weekend.

On the way home I purchased a further 4 canisters of gum, saving £2.76.

This is a phenomenal money-saving week!

I made big, big savings today. In the morning I availed myself of discounts on Tilda ready rice and organic UHT milk to the extent of £1.20, and on my way home I bought a small chicken salad sub which had been reduced by 94p, and had it for my tea. With some Verdicchio which I paid full price for.

I saved 28p on Tescos rhubarb and custard sweets today by taking up their '2 for £1.50' offer.

I'm not really sure that counts though, cos that offer has been permanently in place ever since I started buying those sweets years ago.

On the bargain chiller shelf today I found 30p worth of corned beef offcuts, reduced to 15p. With a couple of slices of my home-made bread they made probably the cheapest tea I have ever enjoyed. bowtie

I received discounts today totalling £5.79, thanks to bulk purchases of moisturiser and hand cream at Wilkinsons and Superdrug respectively.

Ooh just remembered, saved 20p off a vegan sausage roll in Sainsburys too.
