Is anyone else really tired of seeing people walking around dressed like this? I assumed the Batsheva nonsense would expire quickly, but it's gone global instead. I watched 'The Family' and 'Roe v Wade' on Netflix and wondered if this all new conservativism is a reflection of that.



It's begun to make me feel quite elderly, because I just can't get fully behind flowing below the knee florals. Only partly from an aesthetic concern - I don't really enjoy what it says about society. I even spotted Barbara Windsor on what must be a very rare appearance outside her house, dressed in one of these Juice Newton meets Laura Ashley style horrors. So my favoured style is now on the verge of pinning me as someone from a previous era.

I think I'd reluctantly wear the green patterned one on the left. Shape wise I don't absolutely hate the top half of the lilac polka dot one.

I'd go for the one on the right, I'll go for the Pat Boon/Strawberry Switchblade look.  the middle one is too flash and the one on the left would make me look like Terry Jones.

So one each for the three of us so far. The next to declare will have to fight you, Wendi, or me to get the goods for their own back.

I'd go for the lilac and white confection on the right. The left-hand one is, as WDTBD says, too Terry Jones. The middle one I would only wear to a Christmas party or something.
