There's an "exclave" of Italy within Switzerland; a town called Campione d'Italia.

Palladium is a metal. I've always thought the London Palladium meant "palace" or "stadium" - or a hybrid of the two - or similar.

Both the metal and the theatre are named after the goddess Athene, often called Pallas Athene.

'Palace' on the othe hand comes from the Palatine Hill in Rome where the imperial palace was.

JFK had a daughter called Caroline, who's still alive. She wasn't assassinated or mysteriously drowned or anything, Indeed she was US ambassador to Japan until recently.

I think you're getting him mixed up with Elgar.

Elgar was married to Vampira. yes

Gosh that's a nice atlas page. Authoritative-looking graphs and charts, and just enough empty space to say 'This a serious atlas and we can afford to waste just a little bit of space to prove it.'

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, a defining album of the early 90s, was released on the same day as Nevermind by Nirvana, another defining album of the early 90s.
