So out Columbus and Emmannuelle, or possibly England, which is the worst one?

I've not seen those three. The worst one I've seen is Convenience.

I actually bought Carry on Emmannuelle on video cassette really cheap from Woolworths, they never showed it on TV back in the day.
One for the Zoomers there.
Oh, and it was terrible. Apart from one joke Kenneth Williams apparently ad-libbed.

Columbus - if it counts - is the worst, then Emmannuelle, then England, then Dick, then Don't Lose Your Head, then Camel, then basically all the ones before Spying.

Looking at the list Cleo seems to be a great step up from the earlier films.
Behind is great, even that blokes who's irritating in everything else is good in it.

As I always say, Behind is about 50x better than its place in the sequence seems to suggest.

I wonder if having Sid James instead of Windsor Davis would have improved it?
Elke Sommer as Professor Vrooshka was perfect casting.

England does have a nasty cynical streak running through it. Which doesn't really work in a Carry On film.
Emmannuelle was unfunny, but at least it didn't have that. Well it did a bit with the T&A, but not as bad.

All of the above. Right up there with Hi-Di-Hi, Crossroads and Blockbusters as output I think should top a very large bonfire. One containing Wicker Man spaces for certain p*l*t*cians.
And a space for Nick Knowles - I've just landed on a channel that is showing him revealing his improvements to the owner of a tin house in Dartford while the instrumental version of James Blunt's 'Beautiful' plays.

My mistake - it's actually 'Goodbye My Lover'. They'd certainly have to take my soul out into the night if anything like that was done to my home. Since the days of Changing Rooms I've been beyond worried that my brother might enter me into something like that for a laugh. It would be just his type of twisted trick.

I notice That's Carry On isn't included in the list, btw. Maximum 30 entries I suppose.

It seems to me that we also need threads for the best and worst films that aren't officially Carry On films but are clearly Carry On films in everything except name.

Also I didn’t think anyone would notice/care/be pedantic enough.

I remember one where some criminals are trying to retrieve a bag of stolen loot that they hid in a tree, years earlier, but there's since been a police station built around it. I don't have a clue what film that was.

Having just checked them out on Wikipedia, it's neither of those, and Peter Sellers definitely wasn't in it.

I've found it!
It's The Big Job!
Wikipedia wrote:
The Big Job is a British comedy film which was released in 1965. It starred Sid James, Dick Emery, Joan Sims, Sylvia Syms, Jim Dale and Lance Percival.
The Big Job shared its cast and production team with the Carry On films but was not officially part of the Carry On series. The film was photographed in black and white, while the Carry On films from the mid 1960s were in colour.
