I should say that I disappeared quite abruptly last night because I came within an hwisker of burning my pizza and had to rush off to attend to it in a medical sense (gauzes, antiseptic gel, defibrillators, antibiotic suppositories, etc...
So, I have to say that, in summation, I didn't enjoy this record much.
I found it an overproduced, inconsistent mess.
In truth it passed in something of a dreary, oppressive blur.
Like a fever dream with Macca as a kind of unassuming, only vaguely threatening Freddy Krueger-type character.
Worst of all, I might have to listen to it again just so I can be sure I can remember accurately how much of a stodgy mess it seems to have been in the cold, grey, pallid light of today.

It gets better towards the end, so yes, I'd suggest you listen to it again.

Also, the bonus tracks are outstandingly strong. They're easily strong enough to have been included as official tracks.
