- "I was going home to Hayes one night, and there was this boy. He was only young, 18 or whatever. I was waiting for the train and he was doing circles around me. When I get into the train, I was the only one in the compartment. And up comes this little lad, takes off his hat, saying, 'Can I sit by you, please.' I said, 'All right, then,' and we chat. Then I get off at my stop. And he says, 'I get off here, too. I work around the corner. Can I walk you to your door?' Well, he does, and he obviously doesn't want to go, so I ask him in for a cup of coffee. I play a record and give him an apple or something, and I ask him to go off to work. And that was it. That's all that happened. But the song is about what I knew was in his mind. His name was Donald."

| It's a beautiful track but it does seem to ultimately go nowhere. _________________ |

But it does. It goes to the end. It's kind of orchestral. It meanders and then ties up elegantly with the strings. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| Oh, no it doesn't. It just sort of fades away. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| God only knows why I'm surprised.
Joni Mitchell's virtually my alpha and omega. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| She does veer worryingly close to Cleo Laine vocal territories on occasion. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)

| This is like the album I've got. It's all quality but, overall, it's very dull. _________________ |

| Also, I keep expecting every track to turn into Phoebe Snow''s version of Every Night. _________________ |

| In some ways it's a bit like Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake it's far too overproduced than you'd imagine for the songs. Unlike that album, this doesn't kill it. |
