It is over.
The first couple of track were a bit, meh, but I liked that first long track, and it seemed to get better towards the end.
★★★, oh sorry, ***
Am I saying it's better than King Crimson?

I felt that was a good album with the right balance of catchiness and grandiosity. I think that what I didn't like about it when I was 15 was the silliness of his voice and the way the drums were recorded. They didn't feel sharp enough. Listening to it now, neither of those things bothers me so much.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Steve Harley & The Cockney Rejects Rebels
The pub-rock band that went far and above and well over-the-top of their charming power-rock remit.
It doesn't always work.
It usually doesn't work.
But when it works it's a smash!
It's like a kid with a hairbrush for a mic coming up with "I Heard It Through the Grapevine".
A bit of a mess of an album, but I'll not be the churl.
Quatre etoiles.
