I like ducks, I often feed them with the canary's old crunchy mealworms, much better for them than bread.




I like the Moorhen thingies best.

I've just read the comments and now I don't know what to think.

I thought it was a happy little duck. Now I'm not sure.

I have now deleted the duck, to be on the safe side.

It looks like you launched a thread to declare your love for animals. That makes you look kindly and generous.

It feels like something's been going on in this thread, but I don't want to ask what, in case it all starts off again.

I too am confused and mildly disturbed.

I posted what I thought was a video of a happy duck, lying on its back, splashing about in a bowl of water.

But, looking at at the comments people were making about it, it looks like it might have actually been dead and the waving around of its feet might have just been automatic nervous movements.

At least it wasn't footage of one of those distressing 'romantic' situations when a dozen gentleman-ducks attempt to passionately 'woo' a lady-duck all at the same time.

"Mummy, why are all those ducks trying to hurt that other duck?"...

That's been knocking about reddit for at least a week.

Doesn't stop it being adore-a-bobbles though.

I love that it has special pink running 'shoes' as well.

This morning, there were ducks swimming around in these water features outside the City Hall.

It seems they were there in December too.

I just remembered, when we were living in Wales we had lots of ducks.

They were awfully beaky.
