One of these days I'm going smash this album into tiny pieces?

Wavelength and modulation are orthogonal - most public broadcasting on SW is AM, but there is also FM SW.
MW and AM on one hand, and VHF and FM on the other, are used as if they're synonyms, but they aren''t.
Further adding to the confusion is the fact that VHF is described in frequency terms rather than wavelength. Those two are inversely related, so VHF could less confusingly have been called Very Short Wave.

An exceedingly good cake generous ★★★★ from me.
I still think Hotel Cafilornia is better.

Track 4 - Journey of the Sorcerer.
I did not realise that the HHGTTG theme was this song by The Eagles, until I gave it a listen last night....despite having liked The Eagles since the 70's and having been a major HH fan since the 1978 radio series. How odd.

I hope it didn't spoil the series for you.

I went 3, I didn't hate it, but I have no interest in ever hearing it again.
Apart from the instrumental.

Anyway, I would give the album 3.5 but seeing as we don't have that it will have to be rounded up to 4.

It's a very subdued ending to the album.
I think it's exactly the sort of ending it should have, after the excitement of JOTS.

I bet that was played all the time on FM radio. Or was it AM?
There's apparently a big difference or something.
Doesn't AM go all spooky and random at night?
Radio waves propagate better at night, something to do with the waves bouncing around the sky better, so you can get more channels from further away Used to be that caused interference on local channels, now half the stations have been turned off I don't know if that's a problem these days.
And you can get the channels on the interwebs anyway.
I was watching some videos by this guy
He's wonderfully boring and never gets to the point, great to fall asleep to, but he was saying on a Youtube Video how great it was he could talk to someone in South Africa, or someplace, with really really bad sound quality.
On a YouTube Video. Available around the world in good sound quality and video. On demand.
I've been meaning to start a CB radio thread, but I can't find that episode of Terry and June,

Now that's not fair. I did get the bit about FM SW from Wikipaedia, but all the other stuff was out of my own head.
