| It is over. They succeeded in playing all the notes they were trying to play but it was all a bit boring. Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it. _________________ |

This. I liked it, it was a lot better than the average post Grunge band, ★★★★ Experimental without being you know, doing anything new and scary. Oh, and it was a little too long, too many tracks. They did a good job of adding something whenever a song started to drag a bit, |

| Looking at the band's history I feel it bears mentioning that at the time the core of the band were only in their early 20s, which is impressive in the grand scheme of things.
Also, their catalogue of references were obviously eclectic and looked back in time in a really good way.
I'm guessing that they had hipster boomer parents with coolly eclectic and avant-garde record collections.
That said, I didn't really like the vocals and many of the songs dragged on and ultimately dwindled in a manner unlike the artists who influenced them.
Still, ultimately, considering it came out in the dismal mid-'90s, a pretty interesting album and a band of some talent, intelligence and promise. _________________ Disprove the return of a potato (5)
