7: Before The Dawn

Well, I thought they'd be a song title with the word 'Dawn' in it.

It's all just been a series of variations of the same song so far.

This one's journeying a very short distance in a very slow manner.

Like crawling to the corner shop.

Is this supposed to be like Neu!?

Track 8 - Hypnophobia.

That track undid a lot of goodwill I had.

It's like a straight version of the thing that Boards of Canada did a, well, parody isn't quite the right word, but it's hard to find this interesting. After the 55 odd years people have been doing it.

It's got a kind of "Blood On Satan's Claw" quality about.

Actually, it's more like the main theme from Phantasm.

Or Suspiria.

More the latter actually.

The Phantom Payne?

I was thinking of doing a Boards Of Canada album, but it's basically the same thing for 62 minutes, may make a good album, if you like that sort of thing, but a poor choice for an album listening experience.

Actually, this really is exactly like a direct cross between the Phantasm and Suspiria main themes.
