It's got quite an early-'80s sound to it this album.

Ahead of its time is what I am basically saying.

His voice is too silly for this one.

He's trying to end the album like he did with Silk Degrees, like with something akin to "We're All Alone".

I agree, it's pushing the limits of credibility now.

Apart from a couple of later tracks, that was a very boring album, too filled with jazz chords and cocktail stylings.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

I shall give it 2 stars.

Well, a mediocre song or two aside, I enjoyed that immensely.

That kind of horribly dated hi-gloss blue-eyed soul is very much a guilty pleasure for me.

"A Clue" and "Gimme the Goods" are the real stand out tracks, but I have to say that "We're Waiting" was great - a successful bit of Steely Dan-esque experimentation that worked surprisingly well.
