The two of you instead constructed a flimsy web of suppositions and subsequently formed the sly conclusion that I was saying I wanted to do it tonight.

I then said that, had you done it, I would've'd done it later, on my own.

You, Wendi-los-Popas, then charged ahead and said that because I'd said that then that must mean U2 would up next/this evening.

You, Wendi-von-Pöppenstahl, even went so far as to to state that I had demanded we do it.

I refuted, and continue to refute, this conclusion as a spurious concoction of facetious bilgery.

The one thing I will accept as a plain fact is that I don't want to do U2.

Cos I hate them passionately.

And also because that particular album is quite long.

That said - and I reiterate - had you gone ahead and done it last night, then I would've'd've'd felt morally compelled to listen to it in its entirety when I had a chance and both commented and voted on it.
