Rich Kids or Poverty-Stricken Pensioners?
Re: The Rich Kids - Ghosts of Princes in Towers (1978)
That was pretty terrible.
It's quite a 'thing' when the Wikipedia page features more than several negative comments regarding the production.
That was ultimately what ruined the whole sheb*ng.
Caught between several posts at all times I guess.
An oddly uncomfortable nexus of various artistes moving in different directions simultaneously I guess.
The sound of cultural entropy.
Genesis P. Orridge would've envied the sense of despair and discomfort it instilled.
Still, since my commentary-colleagues have given it a combined score of 3/10, I'm going to give it a mightily generous 3/5, meaning it gets a, probably undeserved, combined 2/5.
We've listened to worse.

It's probably what it deserved in truth.
On the grounds of moral failure.

And morale failure, insofar as it failed entirely to cheer anyone up this evening.

Re: The Rich Kids - Ghosts of Princes in Towers (1978)
I just dug up a bootleg recording of Sid Vicious on vocals, Glen on Bass, the bloke Person off this on guitar, and Rat Scabies on drums.
It is better than the Rich Kids.
He's just dedicated 'I wanna Be Your Dog' to Nancy!

When I was a teenager I read the book "And I Don't Want to Live This Life".
I don't think I've ever cried so much before or since after reading the letters Sid wrote to Nancy's mum after her death.
