| I slept from 10 to 1.30 last night, and then lay awake for 5 hours before getting one measly hour's further sleep. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| I woke up at half past four, thanks to coughing and sneezing from my cold and didn't get back to sleep again. _________________ |

| I'm going to have an early night, to try and sleep my cold off. I'm going to get woken again at midnight. By fireworks. _________________ |

| I fell drunkenly into bed at 10, and there were fireworks going off then, but I didn't get woken up at midnight. Or if I did, I've forgotten about it. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| I have to get up at 3.30 tomorrow, so I'm going to bed at 7.30pm.
Accordingly I've just opened the gin. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| I went to bed at 8.30 last night, completely sober, and next thing I knew it was 5.50. And I had exciting dreams all night. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| How late does it have to be before it's officially insomniatic? It's 12:20 am and I'm still awake. Relevant point is it's a Saturday night. None of that qualifies as insomnia surely?

I think it depends what time you went to bed. If it takes me more than an hour to get to sleep, I call that insomnia. Luckily, I had no such problems last night, I slept 8½ hours and could have done another hour easy if I hadn't been hungry and wanting breakfast. |

| 3 hours? Sounds feasible. In that case I don't have a leg to stand on having retired at 11:10pm. It's just I'm very very tired tonight and thought that might be an important factor. If I'm still awake at 02:10am, I'll let you know. |

| I went to bed at 8.40 last night and I was immediately plunged into horrific nightmares. When I at last woke up I thought 'At least it must be nearly morning by now,' and I looked at my watch and it was 10.30pm. _________________ ' "Haven't got houses." Where do they live then?'

| I've just had a nap. I dreamt that my living room had the light shades that our living room had when I was little. _________________ |

| Also, I had a drawer full of water and couldn't work out how the water had got there. _________________ |
