Impossible to dislike, yet impossible to love - especially since there seemed to be a good deal of potential.
An artiste with impeccable good taste and one who was obviously not untalented or unintelligent, he was, it seems, however, one that laboured (quite unambitiously) beneath the constellations his various influences.
The bands and musicians he was hemline-pawing were as familiar with catastrophic failure and embarrassing choices and decisions borne out of egomania, incompetence and in-fighting as they were with genuine brilliance and genius.
I feel a bid sad that this album didn't fly closer to the sun, like Ike Harris.
Also I feel sad cos he was stabbed twice in his own chest by his own hand...
Or another.
