Migraines and lesser headaches

I had a nasty migraine earlier. I was going to post about it here but I had to leave the computer to thr*w up, and then I got confused and fell asleep.

I feel better now though.

Some time ago I arrived at the conclusion that my migraines were being caused by certain food colourings. Now I am determined to test that theory by deliberately ingesting certain indigestion tablets containing those colourings.

Yes, I will risk the prospect of the thing I dread most, FOR SCIENCE!

My sympathies to you. Have you tried a combination of different pills? Sometimes if you load up on codeine say, something totally different - a touch of ibuprofen, for instance, is all it takes to overcome both the migraine you had and the headache you inflicted on yourself.

Different types of pain relief taken in the same session can't be underestimated as a remedy.

I endorse that message. Two co-codamol and an aspirin will shift the most troublesome headache.

I myself have a mild hangover, which doesn't require the heavy artillery yet, just two paras. And only having the fruit part of my breakfast.

I've got a hangover. It's a bad one, but of the good kind, ie my head hurts but I don't feel sick. Though I don't want any breakfast yet either, not even a cup of tea.

I had a banging hangover this morning. I deserved it though, I had two extra vodkas and tonic last night.

I had to go to the Co-op early too because I had a delivery coming. I felt very self-conscious asking for a litre of vodka when I was all white-faced and spaced-out looking.

Top tip btw, if you wake up and you're still a bit drunk, don't eat anything until that drunk feeling has worn off. You'll feel worse if you eat before that.
