My left index finger is painful at the tip, just where I type with it. It's really slowing down my computing activities as my touch-typing reflex is to put it down on the F key after every letter.

My finger is still a bit tender, but is a lot better.

I’ve bent a nail back. It’s bleeding. I thought I was going to faint. I’ve put a plaster on as best I could.

I can see why anything nail related is a reliable torture technique beloved of every dodgy regime in history and the present day.

It was my first thought too.

It's inhumane to expect humans with headaches to find threads.

Actually, you're right. Even finding and opening the packet of paracetamol can almost be too much under such circumstances.

Especially if you open the leaflet end.

I always do that.
