Looks-wise I suppose he was the Adam Ant of his day.

Random return of the opening track, Band on the Run style.

It is over.
That was a very good album with just a couple of duffers. Filled with unconventional changes of tune direction, and spot-on production.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Over.
Maybe it's the fever I'm running, but that was GR8.

I'm absolutely convinced Are Friends Electric? was inspired by this track.

I wanted to dislike - h8te even - it, but this was a feat way beyond even my mighty powers of churl.
It was instead an extremely interesting and mostly very entertaining album.
Perhaps let down on occasion by a sense of smugness and twee archness.
Still, those are usually an indication that the artiste is pretty confident of the work, so it can't be used to bash the creator(s) over the head too much.
Ambition and originality, even when framed in overt pretension, is brave and should be commended.
Ultimately, I was entertained and will probably revisit the album relatively soonly.

You're running a fever because of your dalliances with Satan last night.
The divine Dave Angel Angel David has brought succour to your tormented soul this eve of the Holy Day.
