It is over.

It has some good songs and performances on it but it lacks the melodrama and jaggedness that I like to hear from her.

Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it. Excited

That was underwhelming and largely unoriginal.

Obviously it didn't sound much like "Dear Prudence", but, you catch my drift...

Well, it was much better than the last one by her that we did. And although it had some decent moments it certainly didn't set me on fire. I ummed and ahhhd about buying this album in a charity shop once and I'm not really regretting not buying it.

It was on course for 3.5 for a good while but the last few tracks has made it fall to...

She did sound like an artist bended (it's a word, look it up) into what's in fashion at the time, late 80s Micheal Froom AOR with top notch session musos.
