I did genuinely laugh out loud at that bit! Once I'd gotten over the whole Terry Scott issue, I enjoyed that whole scene in the flat; it made use of a number of lesser-known actors so it felt rather un-Carry On-like.

Re: The Carry On Thread
Just caught the beginning of Spying on More4+1 or something. I'd forgotten that KW makes his first appearance by coming out of a closet.

I noticed that Dan Dann has the same military pictures on his public toilets office wall in Screaming that Kenneth Connor's character has on his caravan site office wall in Behind.
And that they also appear in the General's office in the Prisoner episode The General.

Does that mean the Carry On films take place in the same universe as The Prisoner?

I remember someone on YouTube once demonstrating that UFO and The Persuaders take place in the same universe.

Well, Richard Wattis appears in Spying playing a role that is very similar indeed to his role as Fotheringay in Chimes of Big Ben, and his one as Drake's boss in Danger Man.
So the answer has to be yes.
(I'm not saying that Drake and Number Six are the same person btw).

Re: The Carry On Thread
I watched that Carry On (checks spelling…) Emmannuelle, the other day which was better than I remember. Not actually good though.
Maybe it's because I'm older and the actors don't seem as unsettlingly and inappropriately ancient as they once did.

Re: The Carry On Thread
I watched Carry on Christmas - AKA Carry on Stuffing 1972.
Enjoyable rubbish, can't believe it's 50 years old.
Seems older.
