They meant that the shorter single version as put onto pub jukeboxes is the better version to the extended album version.

It's spirited this, but not really improving on the original.

Still, I guess this the track that, with H17's help, put her back in the limelight and kick-started her glittering subsequent career, so not an unimportant thing.
