Nancy [Andrews] was his fiancee.

She recently told the story of his shaved head on a podcast.

They were relaxing on the beach, and he went off to get some drinks from the bar. He ended up drinking a bunch of absinthe and wandered next door to a barber. First the beard, then the head, then the eyebrows.

She had to go looking for him because he was gone so long. She said he practically had to crawl back to their place. In the morning she woke up to him screaming in the mirror.
