Yeah, but in a good way.

Oh I remember her in later episodes of the children's TV show T-Bag. She was the second or third actress to play the role.

I've seen her in other things too and thought she was a bit strange, her voice and facial expressions especially.

When the Second world War started the Australian army had 3 Sub-machines guns. Not three types, but 3 actual guns. Of 3 different types.

Next you'll be trying to tell us that Barbra Streisand is a Hindu and Fiddler on the Roof was set in Cheltenham.

It says even more in the opening of her Wikipedia page. First husband who had a first name of Melville. Died of breast cancer - a very Ashkenazi trait. Epstein translated to Eastman. Her sausages were terrible - not that I have myself ever tasted an authentic pig type.

This is like people saying they didn't know the King of Saudi Arabia was an Arab.

Her father was an entertainment lawyer. Her aunt a scientist. Her grandfather sold schmutter to department stores. It's all there and I'm not even through the first section.

Not everybody knew that.

It's not surprising when you read about her back story on Wikipedia, but still, not everybody knew that.

It's not shocking, or disturbing or upsetting.

It's that not everybody knew that.

Well I didn't know that. I had to look the majority of it up. I didn't know her food company half belonged to Paul or that she left him all her assets and rights.

You'd have to have that fixed really wouldn't you? I know of a very good surgeon practicing in Beverly Hills and New Jersey who also does currency transfer procedures in Latin America for tax purposes. Does all the telenovela stars. I'd start by going back to basics first - a buzz cut, a brace, a pair of tweezers and some soap and hot water - see what happens and decide from there.

By the nose bend I'd say someone has already had a good go at laying her out.

All I knew about her was that she was American and was part of the Kodak dynasty. There was nothing about those facts that made me think she might be Jewish, even if I did deal in crude stereotypes which I don't.

I once had a fearful argument with someone who insisted that the Loman family in Death of a Salesman were Jewish, even though, as I told them, Arthur Miller himself had said that that question would never be settled.
