I watched the Real Housewives of Auckland this evening. I'd never been able to sit through any others of the franchise except the glorious New Jersey version. Auckland was surprisingly great.

Does anyone else enjoy American miniseries of a certain vintage? I recently watched John Wayne Gacy and A Woman Called Golda (Meir). Both fab. But I've developed a real phobia of the word 'crawlspace' thanks to Gacy.

Also re-enjoyed Danielle Steele's Fine Things. And False Arrest - the true story of Joyce Lukazic being framed for capital murder by her husband. She had a really lovely purple trouser suit when arrested. Between 1991 and now, they've cut some great dialogue I recalled - 'your mom's gonna fry kid', but left in an especially violent and extended prison gang rape.
