Re: The Earth-shattering browser thread
Oh no, it seems to open a whole new duplicated floating browser window with the same tabs open.

Re: The Earth-shattering browser thread
My Firefox keeps crashing. I'm putting increasingly sarcastic messages into the 'describe what you were doing' box.

It seems that as of this week, on Chrome I now get an option whenever I click right button on a page like this saying "Create QR code for this page".
Why?!

When I was using it to download Chrome.
You don't seem to be able to drag files and links onto it though, I discovered yesterday.
Btw, I don't know if this thread is quite earth-shattering enough for me.

Chrome or t'Edge? You need to be more specific where there are two subjects in comment you're quoting.

I don't think there's any real ambiguity for the reader there. Edge was clearly the main subject of discussion in your comment - your point was that it didn't look bad.
There was no explicit discussion of Chrome's attributes.

Yes, I just noticed that, about half an hour ago. I don't have a clue how it works.Butterfield wrote:It seems that as of this week, on Chrome I now get an option whenever I click right button on a page like this saying "Create QR code for this page".

It's not a bug it's a feature.

Hmm, it wouldn't work at all for me, wherever I dragged it, I got the 'No drop' cursor.

I shall try it. On this forums very own 'Host an Image' feature.
Just as soon as I can be bothered rebooting into W*nd*ws.

Re: The Earth-shattering browser thread
If I drag a image onto Edge it displays it on it's own tab.
Well, that was complete waste of my precious time. I shall play a game of Shadow Warrior while I'm here.

Re: The Earth-shattering browser thread
I've discovered that Firefox is no longer the most popular browser. It's down to an 8% share!

Re: The Earth-shattering browser thread
Chrome hasn't been working properly for me, for days. When I shrink a window, the arrows that let me expand or contract it sideways don't appear.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it's made no difference.

It's Gnome 3 all over again!
They're up to Gnome 40 now, if the trend from 2.32 to 3.0 continues, that must be really, really bad

Yes, that version last year that kept crashing was a real downer. That's what got me using Chromium as an alternative.

I'm using the Brave Browser.
When you use its "Incognito" mode, it does it through Tor.
At last, I can find out what the Dark Web is like.

Let's see. I shall type "Frisps" into the search engine.
