The forum in which all human experience resides. Especially for fans of the now-deceased original Hall of the Wendigo. Still Number One with the core demographic.

Amazingly this thread wasn't carried on over from the original and superior HotW.
Until now!

Anyway...
My ex-wife and I's 'song'.
It was always a joke, but when things got messy she started taunting me...
"You lied to me!" "You lied to me!" "You lied to me!"

I wonder what is the word for the opposite of nostalgia - so instead of 'oh, wasn't that good, where are the snows of yesteryear' you're thinking 'that was awful, thank goodness that isn't a thing any more.'

I miss the Simpsons when they were good.

I just accidentally clicked on the 'next' button in that image instead of send.

I honestly didn't mind Return of the Mack, although I haven't thought of it between then and now. I think it was filed in my mind as Men In Black and only now have I again realised they were two separate songs.

Just looking at that Dial-up Networking dialogue box has given me the strangest urge to go and vote for Tony Blair.

We had to hand in two paper copies of essays at uni. It was a mystery to me why anyone would sit under migraine inducing striplights at banks of computers in rows, hammering away.
I used to handwrite mine on pads and pay an old Bristolian lady called Maud to type it out on her typewriter. Then I'd handwrite the second copy in perfect italics and hand both scripts in.
When I was eventually made to meet a potluck tutorial partner to sign into the email I'd apparently been issued at matriculation, he also introduced me to the search engine.
When he'd buggered off, I became a bit overexcited and searched 'Prince William naked' - he was still hot at the time. A paparazzi shot of him on a riverbank came up. I thought I'd be hunted down and thrown out.
I logged out and unplugged the entire row of computers, and rushed off home via a bar a friend was working in, to ask if she thought I should just go straight to the chancellor before I was summoned.
