Great film. I think the ending could do with being a bit more savage because by the time you've fully acquainted yourself with onscreen Mengele, it's almost an anti climax not to focus in on the exact moment those Alsatians bring life to a close for him.

Also, missed potential for a sequel. And a wider question for viewers - in our desire to see bloodlust and violence carried out, having judged the victim deserving, are we all a bit Hitler? Like Abigail's Party really - there's a bit of Beverly in us all.

E4 - I've put The Devil Wears Prada on for her. I had a moment like that romantic midnight lamp post spin once. Just beside the Mannekin Pis.

The Boys From Brazil is not a good film.

It is an entertaining film, but it is not good.

That's why I didn't say it was good, I said it was great.
