| I'm parking this here for future use.
Wings' third album and the one that launched them to global superstardom after their somewhat modest beginnings. Wings' most commercially successful LP, Band on the Run was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and was EMI's top-selling album of the 1970s in the UK.

| It's always a strange album for me because I grew up with the cassette version, which had a different track order from the vinyl release, meaning the vinyl version always sounds wrong to me.
This is the track listing for the vinyl release:
Side one
"Band on the Run" "Jet" "Bluebird" "Mrs. Vandebilt" "Let Me Roll It"
Side two
"Mamunia" "No Words" "Picasso's Last Words (Drink to Me)" "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five"
And this was the track listing for the cassette release:
Side one
"Band on the Run" "Mamunia" "No Words" "Jet" "Bluebird"
Side two
"Mrs. Vandebilt" "Let Me Roll It" "Picasso's Last Words (Drink to Me)" "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five"
I do feel the track listing for the cassette is better, as it feels more balanced in terms of the pacing and progression of the album. _________________ |

| And, of course, the American release had Helen Wheels on it. _________________ |

| So can we do this at 9pm? I'll be using the YouTube version, as my vinyls (sic) copy is a bit dodgy, I was too busy checking to see if it came with the poster to bother checking the actual wax.

| Tonight? I can't do it at 9 because I have to go and get my sarnies. Half-past should be alright. _________________ |

| Well, that'll give me time to get suitably drunk prepared for it. |
