This is a lot more Nintendo sounding that I remember.

I can't recall, but did we go on and on about how she sticks to the same narrow (high) octave register all the time when we did the last album by her?

And she couldn't do it anymore, I'm not sure why she even tried. On this album it's obviously a stylistic choice as is the processing on the vocal.
