I've also seen flamingos but that was in a zoo.

I think it's the same as when there were some tiny chickies there a couple of years ago. They're slightly annoying with their incessant high-pitched squeaking, but I'd still die to save their beaky little beings*. *from a lone magpie or particularly small squirrel.
