More wall-to-wall metaphor.
It's a lost art in hip-hop.

A "Jane" song.
There's a song about Jane on every EPMD album.

The word "business" is used in every title of the group's albums. Every album also has a track with "Jane" in the title.

It is over.
That was very monotonous, from start to finish.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

We should do a Rick James album.
Yes, something by Linda Blair's boyfriend.
Also, something by Troutman/Zapp.

Re: EPMD - Business Never Personal (1992)
In truth I should've put forward one of their first two albums ('88 and '89) so you could see/hear how ahead of the curve they were.
The EPMD sound was looping and sampling when even Public Enemy were shouting over drum machines.
Of course it wouldn't've'd'd made a difference because...
This album however is my favourite by them.
It would be nice if I had some more solid hip-hop allies and epicureans on this forum so I didn't feel like I was just p*ssing in the wind, but it's not like I didn't know.
The only medicine for you people is Renaldo & the Loaf and Half Japanese.
