I'm in a Dune FB fan page and most people hate the 1984 film version.....I absolutely love it! I think it was one of the first DVD's I bought after 2001 and Gladiator.
I am now watching a fan edit that is supposed to be much "better"

I too am a fan of the David Lynch Dune.

It's a mess for sure, but I think I've seen all (3?) of the available versions (including the Alan Smithee one).

I'll have to give this one a look.

Errr, absolutely not....I work for Royal Mail.

I used to work for Getty Images in a "middle management" position, now that WAS interesting, a great place to work, but after a long Cost/Time benefit analysis (redundancy, pay off etc) it's a lot easier and cheaper to get to work in 10 mins than 2 hrs.

Plus it keeps me off the streets.
