We had hula hoops at school. We used to use them for that thing where you hold them vertically, then throw them forwards while giving them loads of backspin, so that when they land, they lunge dangerously back towards you and your fellow children.

How very odd.

I suppose in a way it is training for sex, but there’s no reason boys can’t learn that as a transferable skill too - the ones who go round and round are so much better than the ones who stick to in and out.

Similarly, ice lollies, as an adult I’ve realised they are basically training for oral. I’ve been told I eat lollies in a very erotic way. I favour a reasonably tight suction because I can’t bear the sound of a sloppy lip grip.
