What must it have been like trying to see anything in those old-style wing mirrors?

An abandoned Austin Princess in the Black Country, which judging by Street View footage has been there since at least 2009 - and is still there as seen with my own eyes, gradually peeling and turning a shade of green.

This caravan was mouldering on this driveway when I moved to Zarnichester 23 years ago, and it's still mouldering now I've moved away.

The latter is actually an Opel Rekord.

I thought it was too big for a Kadett so zoomed in on the badge on the back.

And just to be even more pedantic, the former is actually a Triumph 1500, the older model that the similar-looking Dolomite replaced. :troll:

I used to be a member of an old-car forum and from the photos they'd post it did seem that some of the smartest streets in London really did house some of the best worst examples of cars - ancient Volvo estates and the like.

That's upper class people for you, good cars well maintained and run into the ground. Not to be confused with rich people.
