I think I've worked out where it is on an old photo.

Now to see if I can pinpoint it on Google Maps.

I think it's the very top end of Kenninghall Road.

I went up Kenninghall Road, last Wednesday.

I went up in a car but, even in a car, it gave me a mild vertigo attack.

It is still there.

Ooh. Some good investigative work there. It all looks rather more bland these days, if a bit more pleasant I guess.

Two abandoned and rotting 1940s/50s(?) cars just permanently parked on the side of an ordinary residential street!

I wouldn't have thought such things would be tolerated in Leamington Spa.

But if they were tolerated, it definitely would be in the shape of cars from about 70 years ago.

That was 2018 - it's parked there 10 years earlier in 2008 too! Complete with gentleman's hat and obligatory road atlas on the parcel shelf.

A road atlas is no good on the parcel shelf. It needs to be on the passenger seat so you can turn the pages without looking at them while driving.

Mmmm. I used to keep mine on the back seat behind the passenger seat so I could easily reach it if needed when driving.

Not to mention it comes flying forward from the parcel shelf in the unfortunate event of a crash!

This delightfully original battleship grey Beetle is just up the road from the Citroen.

I bet you both those cars are owned the same middle aged hipster couple on the street.
