Years ago me and a friend saw him going into his basement flat in Maida Vale and on the way back we looked down into the stairwell and saw that he had a broom propped up outside the front door and we planned to steal it and sell it at the vintage movie and music shop where my friend worked in Soho as a genuine piece of retro TV memorabilia.
