I haz never been to that there London's V&A museum.

I thought I'd been to that the one in that dar Liverpool, but apparently not.

I haven't, no. I keep hearing that they have interesting non-Victorian stuff now.

Also I read quite a good employment tribunal case about two of their curators.

They have (and in my lifetime, have had) a near-infinite number of objects from across every culture on earth dating back to 1000s of years BC.

It's not just a load of majolica pottery, funny hats and ornate lazy susans.

They've also got a massive room full of full-size plaster reproductions of things like Trajan's Column and, yes, Michelangelo's David.

Well, I'm keener than ever to go, now.

They should make this more widely known really.

No, that's the Science Museum.

The V&A is just along the 'way'.

Closer to CT's.

It's where they had all those mega (impossible to get/afford tickets to) Alexander McQueen, D. Bovvie and Pink Floyd (etc etc) exhibitions.

You couldn't realistically see (or find) everything in the museum in a single, or even several, days.

I've only been to the Natural History Museum and the British Museum. And another one when I was about 6 - the Museum of Britain/British Things or something? Ironically I remember hearing French people speaking there for the first time.

I certainly like that I now know that the V&A is right next to the Natural History Museum. I always assumed it was way over by the Albert Hall.

Well that is absolutely disgraceful. I’m a member. I can see the crown from my kitchen. I think of it as an extra sitting room. I’m not averse to entertaining guests in there, the way one might say to a visitor ‘let’s go and sit in the conservatory’.

I’m in there often and when he was a child I used to leave my son there while I went shopping..

There are addresses in the UK with house numbers in the thousands - such as here on the Bristol Road, a main route in and out of Birmingham, as seen on the wheelie bins.

Be even higher if it didn't go Horse Fair, Bristol Street, Bristol Road, Bristol Road South.

In an earlier thread I went to some lengths to post a view of Number 1000 in some road in Solihull, and no-one paid any attention
