It's OK this one but, despite how relatively minimal it is, it's still drowned in reverb.

Intro sounds like a Ride album put through more reverb.

Re: Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend (2021)
A subtly pretentious Power, Corruption and Lies-ish title.

I feel strongly that we should do Power, Corruption and Lies.

The song should sound clear, but the guitars should be heavily processed, not all of the song.

Re: Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend (2021)
It is over.
It was all very well performed and she has a good voice but I'm not sure any of the songs were particularly memorable.
Now to look back at the thread and see what everybody else made of it.

Unless we've already done it.

We did Brotherhood. The one with the metallic cover. Or was it the one with the drummer face on the front? One side was Hooky (Peter) style rock and the other was more Dancy.

Anyroad, it were erkehh.
Sounded like about a dozen other bands at any and every given point and was deluged in reverb and general overproduction from top-to-tail.
Still, not offensive.
Which is what makes ME WANT TO HATE IT ALL THE MORE AND...

I definitely remember that we've done Brotherhood (my suggestion) and Movement (yours I think, but I probably would've done it in time).
Thing is, I have weird fever dream-like memories of doing other albums by them too.
Like, Lowlife and even Technique.

Re: Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend (2021)
Maybe the songs would grow if you kept listening to em? Got through the murk of the production.
It ain't happening. Sorry.

Oh, yeah, we did Movement too didn't we. And since we did it, the General consensus on that album improved considerably.
Coincidence or something more flattering to the NHotW?
