I went to bed at 8 last night, and slept for a bit, but then couldn't get to sleep till about 11. And the next thing I knew it was 8am.
I half thought it was still 8pm yesterday, it was very confusing.

I've not been sleeping so well these last few weeks. My body seems to have decided it wants to move to a 2am-10am sleep period, as if I was 20 again. This is a problem because my hard-working nomadic lifestyle demands an 8pm-4am sleep period.
Perhaps I should go biphasic - sleep 1am-5am as a compromise, then again 3pm-7pm?

I think you need to tell your bod who's really in control.

I've had to get up at 3.30am twice this week, and will have to do it again tomorrow because the plumber's coming.
These weeks at my parents' house are supposed to be for rest and relaxation, not getting up so early that even I think it's too early.

I went to bed at 8pm last night and slept till 6am. With a short break around 1.30am when the people in the room upstairs were stomping around like elephants.

I went to bed last night at 8.30pm and slept solidly for 8 hours. That was great.

I accidentally fell asleep at around 9 o'clock, last night and didn't wake up until 2:30 in the morning.

Apart from the nightmare, I slept excellently last night, and feel fine this morning after 2 consecutive drink-free days. I'm typing with unusual speed and accuracy.

The latest I ever woke up was 1.53pm. I'd missed Neighbours.
Last night I was woken up at 12.15 by drunks stumbling about in the corridors. Amateurs.

I slept in installments last night. I kept falling asleep, having appalling dreams for two hours and then waking up again.
In one dream I suffocated in my car. In another I was covered in blood.
And in a third I was arguing with a (real) online friend who had IRL, just before I went to bed, got back in touch on Facebook to reveal that she'd been a covid denier all along.
I suppose the lesson of that is that, if we're too cowardly to confront someone for real, we have to do it in a nightmare instead.
