It's the first bank holiday ever celebrated by the New Hall of the Wendigo. Are we all doing exciting things for it?

I'm not

I went into town really early. I had to sit outside Debenhams for 5 minutes waiting for them to open.

Now I'm watching my neighbour building his patio. Mrs Neighbour apologised for the noise and I graciously said that they were usually nice and quiet.

I hurried down to Tescos early to get materials for my burger lunch.

And what a lovely morning to be in the Bank Holiday Beach Hut.

I was thinking of going to the local park and soak up the bank holiday vibe but I didn't wake up until 10 o'clock and now I don't have the time to go there.

Have some burgers instead. Mine were delicious.

I've only got peanut butter, bread, cheese and pasta in the house, and the burger shop is closed.

I've been down t'gym, down to the park, and and I've just come back from shopping at iceland.

Just time to top up my sunscreen and put something into my hair so the sun can lighten it, and I'll be out again.

I didn't like it. It made me feel like I should be making better use of the bank holiday than I was.

It was my birthday, and I'd never had such a sunny birthday before.
I was given some scratch cards and one of them gave me winnings of .... €25
